1. Rental Agreement
By renting a trailer from JLM Trailer Rentals, you agree to abide by the following:
- Eligibility: You must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license to rent a trailer.
- Proper Use: The trailer must only be used for legal purposes and in accordance with all traffic laws.
- Rental Period: The rental period starts when you pick up the trailer and ends when it is returned. Late returns may be subject to additional fees.
- Condition of Trailer: The trailer must be returned in the same condition as it was rented. You are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
2. Payment and Deposits
- Rental Fees: You agree to pay all applicable rental fees as outlined at the time of booking.
- Deposit: A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon return of the trailer in acceptable condition.
- Late Fees: If the trailer is returned late, additional charges may apply.
- Damage Costs: If the trailer is damaged during your rental period, you are responsible for repair costs.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental period starts.
- Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion based on the cancellation policy stated at the time of booking.
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to pick up the trailer without prior notice, your payment may be non-refundable.
4. Liability and Insurance
- Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is capable of safely towing the rented trailer.
- Insurance: You may be required to provide proof of valid insurance coverage before renting.
- Damage Liability: JLM Trailer Rentals is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from improper trailer use.
5. Prohibited Uses
The trailer must not be used for:
- Illegal or hazardous activities.
- Carrying more weight than the trailer’s maximum load capacity.
- Towing in off-road or restricted areas.
- Transporting prohibited goods, including hazardous materials.
If found in violation, JLM Trailer Rentals reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately without a refund.
6. Website Use
- Intellectual Property: All content on our website, including images, text, and logos, is owned by JLM Trailer Rentals and may not be copied or used without permission.
- User Conduct: You agree not to misuse our website, including engaging in fraudulent activities or attempting unauthorized access.
7. Termination of Service
JLM Trailer Rentals reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation, or terminate a rental agreement at any time if we suspect misuse, fraud, or non-compliance with our terms.
